NED Alumni Association of Houston (Houston NEDA) has a long history with respect to its original name and when it was originally formed. Name of this chapter got changed a couple of times over the last 15 years due to the change in leadership and local support. Historically, this chapter was formed back in year 2005 and became the home of NED Alumni Annual International convention in 2005. After 2005, chapter did not stay very active and got revived again in 2016 with the help of NEDIAN NA. Again, in 2016 chapter hosted another NED Alumni Annual International convention in Houston. After 2016, the chapter is very vibrant and have increased its membership to many folds. We invite all NED Alumni and former faculty members of NEDUET to come and join hands with the chapter and do things that will bring positive changes for Alumni living in the Greater Houston Area and for the students and faculty members of NEDUET in Karachi, Pakistan. Seeing a need to bring together NED Alumni for energetic, nonprofit work in this area, we formed our organization in 2017. We’ve consistently grown since then, all thanks to the helping hands of this amazing community!

Promote the interests of NED University of Engineering & Technology, Karachi, Pakistan, as a world class engineering institution, by strengthening the ties and communication among the University, its Alumni, current students, faculty (past and present) Patrons and Friends of NED.
